Whew! What a year we’ve had. I was looking at all the photos I’ve taken these past 11 months and what became so clear to me is how many inspiring moments have blessed my life.
Yep…we’ve had our share of trials of tribulations, but I’m betting you have, too.
We’ve had our times of sorrow and frustration and oh boy…missing our friends and family.
We’ve had ups and downs and highs and lows…but I’m pretty sure – this is just life.
But as I look back…there are new friends everywhere… new adventures…and there were visits from friends and my girl…Kaitlyn.
This blog was new and I’m finding that THIS is the thing that brings me abundant joy! I’m still trying to get it all straight, but I read the comments and I’m so grateful for each one of them. I’m hoping it’s also inspiring!
Franklin is lovely…filled with history and beauty…people from all over the country and just a hop, skip and a jump away from Nashville.
There was this whole part about how I keep trying to get used to all things new. (I’m still looking for a dentist and a good shoe repair person!)
And there was inspiration in Discovering Franklin.
So this is going to be a random post about some of the places and things that inspired me.
Just a random country setting…I really wanted to help myself to one of these rusty bikes and see where it took me.
Beautiful booth at the City Farmhouse Pop-up Barn Sale – ummm…I got into a little shopping trouble here.
My favorite barn. I love barns…truly I love them!
I went Beauty Hunting at my friend, Linsey’s farm. She has a wonderful blog and it’s filled with inspiration. I get excited when it shows up in my inbox!
This was best photo of that day…I was just getting started!
Even in the dead of winter when I was sure nothing was ever going to be green again – there was inspiration at The Carnton Plantation.
And in the spring there baby llamas only a few days old…
And horses and a new friend…
And there were new things to see (and buy) at one of my favorite stores…The Barn Door (You really must go here when you visit.)
And the biggest butterflies you’ve ever seen and seriously…who doesn’t like butterflies?
And finally there’s my favorite place…Leiper’s Fork…winter, spring, summer or fall…there’s magic for me here. This is the place where I fell in love with Franklin and it still captures my heart.
Sending you blessings from Franklin…Thanks for being here.
