I know I sound like a broken record, but there’s just something about the whole day – beginning with the name that bothers me. It’s personal, I know.

I experienced Opryland for the first time at Christmas and I have to say…the hype is totally warranted. It’s spectacular! Now I don’t have small children so I didn’t see the Grinch Who Stole Christmas but I did take in the incredible lights! Go early and have a bite to eat and then when watch the whole place light up as it gets dark.
Whatever you do – don’t miss the Outdoor Nativity – it’s breathtaking.
There is a LOT to do…so visit their website and GO! Really…it’s a mini-Disneyland right here in Nashville.
Cheekwood has started a new holiday tradition. For the first time ever, the exquisite holiday decorations Cheekwood is so famous for have extended from the mansion into the gardens. The Franklin Theatre is showing Home Alone on Saturday and Sunday and Mandy Barnett’s Winter Wonderland concert is Saturday evening at 8:00pm. Please check for ticket availability.
