Where or where does the time go? Can you even believe that in a few short days May is upon us which means Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day in the first week. I don’t really celebrate the 5th of May except to find a reason to eat Mexican food and drink a margarita. You too? Good.
Mother’s Day is a tough one for me because as you know by now…I’m not with my daughter. I’m here and she’s there and it’s really hard. Lately I’ve been missing her something crazy. This…I think will always be the hardest part of my move.
So my heart hurts because of that, but then…I have my Mom here with me and she’s 87, so I find ways to celebrate her and that I have the blessing of still having my Mom in my life. I don’t know what we’re doing so if you have recommendations, I’m all ears.
Buffets are not really her thing or mine.
This week is a monumental one. I’m hosting my first ever women’s retreat – Living Life Out Loud on Saturday, April 30 at a beautiful horse farm in Middle Tennessee. It’s a leap of faith of me and I’m excited to see how the day unfolds. I love the coaching side of my life. It’s really the thing that lights me up.
Is it okay if I ask you a question?
I really would like to know what you want to know about on Discovering Franklin? Do you want recommendations? Or stories about fascinating people in Middle Tennessee? Or places to go? Or things to do? Or where to get great services? What can I do to make the whole Discovering Franklin experience better for you?
I would be so grateful if you would leave a comment below and tell me. I’m a big believer in asking…just ask my family. I ask a lot of questions so I hope you’ll answer this one for me.
