Welcome to Week 2 of I Love Franklin! – basically my random thoughts and a peek at what’s to come on Monday. (Hint: I’m sharing fall events y’all will love.)
I know fall is officially ten days away, but with Labor Day behind us, it feels more like fall, especially since I saw these beauties the other day at Reed’s Market in Downtown Franklin.
Pumpkins get me in the mood but this year, I think I’m pulling back on the orange and using more neutrals. As soon as I have this figured out I’ll be sharing with you.
It’s not too late to head over to Harlinsdale Farm and take in the inaugural Made South Market featuring over 100 of the South’s finest artisans, craftsmen and women along with makers of all things delectable. I love attending the first of anything and supporting Made South is just where I’ll be.
Last Sunday my husband and I took a drive along the Natchez Trace and we just let the day take us away. It was one of those perfectly peaceful days and with the top down we headed out. The Trace is always spectacular, but October when the leaves are golden and crimson is ideal. We’ll go back in October.
When you live in God’s Country, a Sunday drive is sometimes just what the doctor ordered. The sky was particularly amazing and the clouds were having some serious fun.
Made South Market is really the fall kick off to so many wonderfully unique event and how about I share my favorites with you on Monday? Stay tuned…
Have a great weekend Sweet Friends.
Have I told you lately how grateful I am that you allow me into your life? I am.
